Embrace your inner Dancing Queen at our one day Mamma Mia! musical theater workshop created for kids and teens who love ensemble driven shows, pop harmonies, and the joy of performing together.
Inspired by the high energy world of Mamma Mia!, this workshop invites singers to sing loudly, move freely, and perform with confidence. Through group singing, movement based exploration, choreography, and performance focused activities, participants will build ensemble skills, stage presence, and expressive freedom in a supportive, cast style environment.
In addition to vocal and performance coaching, singers will work with a guest choreographer who will teach fun, show inspired dance combinations that capture the energy and spirit of Mamma Mia. Movement work will focus on musicality, confidence, and performance.
Expect big group moments, playful character inspired work, and music that celebrates friendship, independence, and bold self expression. Coaching emphasizes technique, musicality, and confident performance while creating the kind of cast chemistry that makes musical theater unforgettable.
Enrollment is intentionally limited to keep the experience high touch, collaborative, and supportive.

HVS’s Musical Theater Intensive is a focused, supportive program designed to help singers grow into more confident, competitive performers for upcoming auditions and performance opportunities.
This intensive is centered on learning how to approach musical theater material efficiently and thoughtfully. Over the course of the program, singers will explore material from three different musicals, gaining experience learning music, text, and choreography at a realistic audition pace, while still receiving guidance and support along the way.
Participants will leave the intensive with:
Three 32 bar audition cuts they can confidently take into future auditions
Acting sides connected to the shows explored
Musical theater dance combinations learned in a performance context
Coaching focuses on helping singers bridge the gap between technical study and real world application. Singers will work on applying technique under pressure, making clear acting choices, and building confidence as they learn new material. The environment is structured, encouraging, and intentionally collaborative.
The program concludes with a mock adjudication led by theater professionals. Singers will present selected material and receive constructive, actionable feedback to help guide their future audition preparation.
Enrollment is intentionally limited to ensure each participant feels supported and challenged at an appropriate level. This intensive is ideal for passionate, enthusiastic, and commited singers who are ready to level up and sharpen their audition and performance skills.
-
This intensive is a great fit for:
Intermediate singers preparing for future auditions
Performers looking to build confidence, consistency, and speed
Beginners who are ready for a focused, supportive challenge
Advanced singers who want to refine and refresh audition materials
Singers should have an interest in musical theater and feel comfortable singing in a group environment.
All coaching is tailored to meet singers where they are.
-
Leave with audition ready materials they can reuse
Build confidence learning and performing new material
Strengthen the ability to apply technique in performance settings
Receive clear feedback to guide future growth
Gain a better understanding of audition expectations
